Pitt-Greensburg Esports is giving an opportunity to a new generation of athletes and competitors. We are the first varsity Esports team in Westmoreland County, PA and in the Pitt system. Pitt-Greensburg looks to draw in the best players possible to compete in a variety of game titles, while also prioritizing a quality Liberal Arts education.

Daniel O’Connor

Systems Analyst and Esports Program Director

As the Esports Program Manager, Daniel O’Connor manages current and future club activities, and provides outreach to prospective Esports students. Daniel excels in fostering and growing partnerships with schools, businesses, and potential Esports program supporters, while also initiating community engagement and service initiatives. His commitment to his students extends to overseeing academic performance and disciplining teams, fostering a culture of sportsmanship and accountability, while reinforcing the importance of their education. Daniel works closely with players to refine macro and micro strategies for competitive success. Daniel actively engages with student interest, targets marketing efforts, and maintains fiscal responsibility within the budgeting policies while navigating the complexities of university, conference, and club procedures.
